Your son/daughter just left for college, and you want to make sure they end up in the right place? We're here just for that reason - to come alongside and help as they learn and discover what it means to be on their own, learn more and walk out their relationship with Jesus Christ on a daily basis.
Cru (Formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) welcomes your interest and questions about your son or daughter’s involvement in our ministry. The resources and events offered here at USF CRU provide development opportunities in the areas of faith and leadership. Cru offers a number of conferences and mission projects that allow students to grow in their knowledge of God and help others find meaningful answers to life’s questions.
Cru is an interdenominational Christian organization founded in 1951 with the purpose of helping to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 28:18-20. When Bill and Vonette Bright first launched Campus Crusade for Christ, the underlying concept was to “win the campus today and change the world tomorrow.” More than 50 years later, the mission remains the same. For more about Cru, visit our “Who We Are” section on our website.
Traditional, orthodox Christian beliefs are at the core of the Cru movement. We hold to the essential claims of the Christian heritage including the birth, life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have no ties to any one particular denomination but work instead in cooperation with many local churches to aid the spiritual development of young men and women. Visit the U.S.Campus Ministry Page to find more information about our Statement of Faith, our National and International Leadership, Locations, and even how to partner financially with us.
